About the role

The Payroll Project Manager position will manage the payroll function to ensure timely and accurate processing of the monthly and expatriate pay runs are completed efficiently.

In addition to payroll operations, this role will be responsible for creating and leading the delivery payroll project to achieve full data integration between the local payroll system and global HRIS system.


Responsibilities:

The Payroll Project Manager will be responsible for the following areas.

  • Payroll Management:_
  • Manage and oversee end to end accurate payroll processing in Preceda.
  • Monthly Payroll for 2 sets of employees.
  • Generate all necessary reporting and conduct reconciliation on payment after each pay run for the finance team.
  • End of month reporting.
  • Payroll Project_
  • Define project scope and lead project delivery to enable data integration between Preceda (payroll system) and Workday (Global HRIS) to achieve automation and maximum efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with local teams and Head Quarter to manage all aspects of change to support the data integration project, including the transition period and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in all aspects of payroll processing and compliance across the organisation.
  • Other Duties_
  • Reporting and escalating compliance concerns, issues and failures in accordance with organisation policies.

About you:

  • Experience in project management
  • Working knowledge of Preceda and Workday
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Commerce, Business, Finance or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in payroll management
