THE ROLEBased inour Subiaco head office, the primary role of the Reliability Engineer is toidentify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plantor business operations.

This broad primary role can be divided into threesmaller, more manageable roles: Loss Elimination, Risk Management, and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM).

The Reliability Engineer will work closely with other business functions including Maintenance, Operations, Supply, and Finance.

The responsibilitiesof this role will include:

Developinga plan, in conjunction with the operations team, to eliminate or reduce thelosses through root cause analysis and obtain approval of the plan andfacilitate its implementation.

Operational Guidingefforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes,utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.

Technical Participatingin the development of conference or journal technical papers that reflect the Company?s role in striving for technical excellence.

Improvement Takesownership of the Plant Maintenance Master Data and leads the development ofmaintenance strategies and spare parts holding and actively maintains thesestrategies using Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) techniques.

Provideexpert guidance through investigations of significant or repeat failures andimplement solutions to minimise risk of recurrence.

ABOUT YOUTobe considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skillsand experience.

Tertiary qualification in Engineering (or equivalent).5-10 years professional experience in asimilar role preferably in the mining or related heavy industries.

Excellent communication skills with highattention to detail.
Ability to influence and persuadestakeholders using data-driven arguments to secure investment approval.
Strong analytical skills.
Understands and can apply leanmanufacturing principles.
Regular travel to Carnarvon and Eramurrawill be required for this position.
