Position Summary: The Proof-of-Concept Specialist plays a crucial role in developing, planning, designing, and coordinating Customer Proof of Concept Labs, focusing primarily on Enterprise Networking/NX technologies, but not limited to other technologies. You will collaborate closely with different business units, Content Developers, Partners, and both internal and external audiences throughout the entire POC process, from inception through testing to final customer delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Management (10%): Identify and prioritize all project-related tasks, organize and communicate project goals effectively, and ensure proper status reporting by third-party developers.
  • Engineering (50%): Design, develop, document, and deliver various content for Enterprise Networks/NX, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders to meet POC objectives.
  • Platform Design (20%): Thoroughly document and plan all projects, utilizing standard design tools and templates while presenting designs to a peer group.
  • Support (10%): Serve as the primary point of contact for all escalations, working closely with account teams, partners, and customers to ensure successful POC delivery and addressing any post-delivery issues effectively.
  • Other (5%): Act as a liaison for third parties and an independent content developer.

Required Skills:

  • CCNP/CCIE level or equivalent experience with strong skills in Routing, Switching, and Security.
  • Experience with various technologies such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and more.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Controller Deployment and Design, Template and Policy Management, Cloud Networking, and more.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Infrastructures, Test Tools, and other Cisco products.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Programming and Scripting languages like Go, Python, Ruby, etc., and Web Development.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure environments and drive cross-functional projects successfully.
