Datadog Consultant


As a result of significant growth and newly released budgets for this year, our international client is seeking an experience Datadog Consultant to join a project already in flight.

This opportunity will see you join an experienced team on a long term project.

Length of engagement: 6-12 months (with possibility of extension)

Key Skills and Experience

  • Datadog Platform Proficiency: Indepth knowledge of the Datadog platform, including its various features, components, and functionalities.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Ability to set up effective monitoring and alerting systems using Datadog, ensuring timely notifications for critical events.
  • Metrics and

Logs Collection:
Experience in configuring and managing metric and log collection agents to gather data from various sources.

  • Dashboard Creation: Skill in designing and building insightful dashboards to visualize data and provide actionable insights.
  • Anomaly Detection: Knowledge of setting up anomaly detection mechanisms in Datadog to identify unusual patterns and potential issues.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Expertise in monitoring infrastructure components such as servers, containers, databases, and networking devices.
  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Capability to respond to incidents promptly and troubleshoot issues within the Datadog platform.
  • Performance Tuning: Skill in finetuning Datadog configurations for optimal performance and resource utilization.

Knowledge of securing Datadog deployments and implementing access controls to ensure data confidentiality.
