The Provider Assurance team is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of assurance activities for DVA's healthcare providers.
The program of work incorporates risk and data analysis to prepare and implement forward work plan, developing and refining the supporting assurance framework, and analysing data assets for the purpose of assurance activities.
The Lead Assurance Data Analyst will lead the team responsible for data extraction and analysis to support the assurance activities undertaken for DVA's healthcare providers.
The role provides support and expertise to the assurance team.We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders across various levels of the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise at developing and manageing internal and external relationships, anticipating and responding to stakeholder needs and expectations effectively.
Expertise in SQL, Teradata, SAS, or similar data analysis tools is essential, along with extensive experience in undertaking complex data analysis and leading business analysis activities.
Additionally, knowledge of published methodologies used in the Australian Hospital sector would be advantageous.The ideal candidate should be capable of leading teams under limited direction, setting priorities, and ensuring high-quality outputs.
We are looking for someone who can contribute to team capacity building through coaching, feedback, and supervision of staff.

A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
