Bar Supervisor

$60k - $65k + Super

CBD Location

We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, ensuring exceptional customer service. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead by example, motivating and guiding staff to deliver outstanding service. Provide training and ongoing support.
  • Customer Service: Keep the high standard for exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued. Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing budgetary goals, including monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and optimizing revenue opportunities. Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and improvement. Provide feedback and insights based on your observations and interactions with customers and staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or bar setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and standards.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
