Complete your Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician qualification through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer, Capital Electrical.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist with various electrical work
• wiring, conduit work and terminations
• Read electrical and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements
• Operate electrical power tools
• Perform maintenance on electrical equipment, switchboards & lighting
• Test for, locate and repair electrical faults
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Work with qualified tradesmen to complete business operations

What you'll bring to the table

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

• Must be a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice
• Demonstrated passion and interest in the electrical trade
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to both on and off the job training
• A cando attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions
• WHS Construction Card (Whitecard)
