  • John Fawkner Private Hospital seeks an administration professional for a part-time role as a ward clerk in the 30-bed Oncology Ward. You will thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment, exhibit a positive work attitude, and prioritize customer satisfaction.

  • As a ward clerk, your responsibilities include:
    • Greeting patients and customers.
    • Coordinating with nursing staff to provide information to relatives of Orthopaedic patients.
    • Preparing patient files and managing their distribution.
    • Providing clerical support to nursing staff and management.
    • Interacting with different hospital departments to organize patient treatments or transfers.
    • Fostering a welcoming environment for all patients.
    • Collaborating as an active team member to support various tasks.
  • Essential Criteria:
    • Authorization to Work in Australia.
    • Minimum of 1-year administration experience.
    • Prior experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Working with Children check.
    • Commitment to service excellence.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
    • Aptitude for fast-paced environments.
    • Keen attention to detail.
