Who you are:
A passionate payroll officer with at least [two] years of payroll experience, strong attention to detail, an understanding of workplace legislative environment along with a can-do attitude as well as a customer service centric ethos.
The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Timely and accurate fortnightly processing of Australian and New Zealand payroll including salary, bonuses, leave management, tax and superannuation with the support of external outsourcing payroll provider.
- Onboarding, offboarding and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Collate information from different IT systems and administrate required changes.
- Assist in the management of Workers Compensations claims and administration requirements.
- Key point of contact in resolving internal and external payroll issues and enquires.
- Assist and support the finance team in payroll related month end tasks and financial audits.
- Identify improvement opportunities, make recommendations, and help implement process changes across the payroll function and business.
