About the Role
We have a young adult client in the
Mount Victoria area with complex care needs and your responsibilities will include:

  • Complex Personal Care assistance including
    bowel & catheter care and supporting with daily hygiene
-
Manual handling including using hoist transfers

  • Community access and taking the client out to
    fun social activities & outdoor pursuits in the area
  • Providing support in everyday activities around the home including meal assistance & domestic duties
  • Morning & early evening shifts available
    Monday to Friday 7am am & 5pm 7pm

About you
As an experienced Support Worker, you will bring with you a wonderful attitude and approach that is client centric.

With the client's needs front and centre you will have/be:

  • Active & young at heart, with an
    interest in the outdoors & leisure pursuits:
  • Good Manual Handing skills including experience in hoist transfers
  • Skilled in
    complex bowel care, Peristeen Bowel Care Irrigation experience is a bonus
  • Full
    drivers license needed with access to your own vehicle
  • NDIS Clearance, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check & Current First Aid & CPR
  • Up to date Covid 19 vaccinations including booster shot
  • Minimum Cert III qualification (i.e. Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability) is essential
