As Data Activation & Planning Lead in the Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for leading & managing digital data & analytics programs and provide visibility and engagement across all different programs within the digital data & analytics ecosystem.
This role within the Data & Analytics team plays a crucial part in accelerating Xero's digital growth around the globe through excellence in data tracking & measurement, expansion & full utilisation of best in class advertising, marketing & data platforms.
The role requires someone to be data-driven & cross-device acquisition in the pre-purchase stage of Xero's customer journeys and with a special focus on data & measurement and working with internal Digital, Product, Regional Marketing, Analytics & Tech teams.
What you'll do:
- Drive key data & measurement projects that will help propel Xero's digital growth strategies to the next level.
- Lead the effort to build detailed requirements for measurement and oversight of the data and analytics programs to facilitate effective acquisition effort
- Create and collaborate with the data & analytics squads to make sure their road maps of work to meet the standard and are easily managed.
- Liaise with customers and internal cross functional teams to assess the business impact that certain technical choices have and rights standards are applied for the data & analytics team
- Lead the "Cookie Apocalypse" project and technical delivery for Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms
- Work with Xero's Engineering team on the Offline Data Feed Management of Digital Media ad platforms
- Monitor project team progress daily
- Create visibility for the stakeholders on a road maps Data & Analytics team
- Conduct the operational excellent for the Data & Analytics team.
What you'll bring:
- Strong data literacy skills earned through a mixture of experience with data, specifically digital media
- Extensive experience in digital, media & data analytics
- Experience with digital media & measurement programs
- Ability to break down complex data and deliver meaningful, actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear and digestible way
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Project Management experience.
- You'll be eager to understand the business context to help inform your approach to the analytical activities, and solve customer problems alongside your stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear professional reports
- Customercentric mindset, with proven ability to recommend opportunities that drive greater advocacy
