Do work that matters As a Small Business Banking Home Loan Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our business, by driving growth strategy and excellent outcomes for customers.

Working collaboratively with frontline Home Lenders and Business Bankers across the bank, you will be responsible for undertaking financial modelling and analysis for dual self-employed home and commercial loan application submissions.


More specifically, you will:

Support Lenders and Business Bankers with dual home and commercial loan credit submissions for new facilities, and coordination of deal execution through documentation and funding Structure and clearly articulate the credit merits of a transaction, including identifying and mitigating key risks Pro-actively support stakeholder teams to drive retail and business banking opportunities amongst their client base, seeking to maximise sales and cross-sell opportunities Interacting with stakeholders by phone, video conference, and face-to-face to build positive relationships Resolve and respond to enquiries & complaints in an accurate, timely and effective manner Ensure customer applications are compliant and within risk appetite We want to hear from you if you have: Experience with self-employed lending or small business customers Cert IV in Banking Services highly regarded A well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation Commercial acumen and sound financial analysis and modelling skills Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement/management skills Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willing to obtain within 6 months This is a great opportunity for someone who is an experienced Lender or Analyst, who enjoys analytics and is looking to expand their knowledge and experience.
