This 2-partner firm is experiencing rapid growth following an excellent performance this year. Collaborate closely with leaders who have previous experience at BIG 4 firms, allowing you to enhance your skills and be part of a highly successful team.

You will have the chance to collaborate with a diverse client portfolio, including companies with a turnover as high as $200 million. The clients range from neurosurgeons to construction companies and event businesses, some of which are the largest in the ACT region.

This opportunity offers substantial room for personal and professional growth within the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements, and management reports
  • Engagement with the ATO and ASIC on behalf of clients
  • Completion and submission of BAS, IAS, and consolidated activity statements
  • Handling various entities such as SMSFs, companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
  • Exploring tax research and advisory prospects
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a focus on Accounting (candidates near completion will also be reviewed).
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting firm in Australia
  • Partly certified or pursuing CA/CPA qualifications
  • Proficiency in using Xero software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
