The objective of the Tennis Women and Girls Strategy is to enhance access and opportunities for women and girls in tennis, striving for equality in the sport. We are seeking a Women and Girls Coordinator - Coach to join our team on a part-time fixed-term basis until June 2025.

As the Women and Girls Coordinator – Coach, you will play a key role in implementing the strategy nationally. You will collaborate with the Women & Girls and Coach Development teams to organize custom programs and initiatives for women and girls, offering them the chance to take the lead and participate in tennis.

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Organize the national schedule for Coach Connect activities in partnership with the Coach Development team
  • Lead the execution of all Coach Connect events, including the Summer of Tennis series
  • Manage the administration and reporting for the President's Women in Tennis Scholarship program
  • Provide support for the national delivery of the No Limits Girls squads and ensure seamless communication with coach deliverers
  • Work with the Coach Professional Learning team to develop engaging content for Coach Connect and Coach Education, specifically tailored for women coaches

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Dedication to sports and inclusivity, with a focus on promoting gender equality for women and girls in tennis
  • Outstanding organizational abilities, including task prioritization and meeting deadlines efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with stakeholders
  • An academic background in business management, education, sports science, or a related field is advantageous
  • Club professional coaching certification is highly valued
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
  • Flexibility in working hours and arrangements related to Tennis Australia
