Our client is a professional Accounting firm seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

This well-established Sunshine Coast business has a strong workflow, with a multitude of clients, from various industries, including individual clients.

To be effective in this Bookkeeping position you may offer attributes such as:

  • _Certificate in Bookkeeping or equivalent_
  • Widespread knowledge & understanding of GST, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover, BAS, Superannuation, FWA, debtors, creditors, Payroll and bookkeeping legislation
  • Xero or Myob experience/ certificate
  • Strong computer skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Willingness to adapt and learn and be proactive
- _Previous experience in a similar Bookkeeping role_

Operational responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating daily, weekly & monthly bookkeeping tasks and sustaining accurate financial records
  • Conducting account reconciliations to safeguard data integrity
  • Assisting with preparation of detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Work in partnership with crossfunctional teams to confirm necessary financial information
  • Assist with adhoc accounting preparatory tasks, if required.
