It is important to note that a Candidate Pool is used to gain expressions of interest for roles so they can be assessed on merit and then considered for positions when they become vacant at your preferred site.

You will not be required to work across all sites, you will have the option to nominate your preferred site upon submitting your application.

Overview

The Direct Care Worker (Community) will assist in providing a direct client service to persons who are aged, frail or disabled who wish to remain living in their own home with some assistance.

The Direct Care Worker (Residential) will assist in providing a direct client service to residents of the Residential Care Home.

WHA3: Nil Essential Minimum Requirements, limited experience working with aged, frail or disabled persons in a community/ residential setting is desirable.

WHA4: You must have completed the AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and have experience working with aged care clients.

This is a multiple positions part time vacancy, hours to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. This position allows for the negotiation of Ongoing, Temporary and Casual positions, along with negotiability for working location.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
