As the Director you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the provision of strategic information and advice to the Deputy Director-General, Policy, Performance, International & Intergovernmental Division on effective strategies, processes and systems that support the portfolio.
  • Lead and manage the business operations and day to day management of the Office of Deputy Director-General, Policy, Performance, International & Intergovernmental Division by ensuring the timely and effective provision of client focused service and by providing strategic direction and advice to senior executives across the portfolio and with external stakeholders on a range of issues.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Foster collaborative relationships within the Policy, Performance, International and Intergovernmental Division and across the department, and with stakeholders in other government agencies and external organisations.
  • Manage and coordinate the business planning functions of the Office of the Deputy Director-General, Policy, Performance, International and Intergovernmental Division and provide strategic input into portfolio planning and reporting.
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of professional staff to deliver outcomes consistent with organisational objectives.
