(32 casual hrs spread across each quarter - school term time only - i.e. 6 sessions per term x 4 hrs plus Admin)

The Opportunity**Join our team as a vibrant and engaging facilitator.

With your passion for supporting families you will:

  • Plan & deliver peer support group(s) tailored for eligible parents of children with a disability or chronic medical condition.
  • Create a comfortable environment that encourages participation and conversation from all participants. Facilitate discussion, develop relationships, support parents to identify needs and tailor group sessions to meet needs of parents.
  • Collaboratively plan & deliver 6 sessions each school term.
  • Have casual & flexible working arrangements within school hours and school terms.


You will be responsible for organising guest speakers and guest services from the local community who can also support the parents' needs, and assist with promoting and advertising the group sessions amongst local agencies and primary stakeholders.

You will provide support to an assisting play helper and ensure children are supervised and appropriate activities are provided. You will manage a set group budget and report expenses accordingly, along with monitoring and reporting attendance data.
