Headquartered in Melbourne, the company has a manufacturing facility and a warehouse in Melbourne and offices overseas.

The Role:

Mace Engineering Group is currently seeking the services of a highly motivated and energetic person as a Warehouse Assistant. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will require the experience of working in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Receive and sort inward goods (Raw Material and Finished products). Conduct quality inspection and counting.
  • Documenting and recording of goods, material and components received.
  • Process the goods and carry out tasks including packaging of products and components, fixation of product labels, and shelving goods at proper places.
  • Loading, unloading, and stacking of goods, material, and components by hand and by using material handling equipment including pallet stacker.
  • Pick and Pack products and assist in dispatch.
  • Assists with stocktake and general stockcontrol
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and the material is well presented.
  • Ensure and observe the use of personal protective equipment and safe working practices.

Qualification, Experience, and Skills required:

  • Minimum VCE or equivalent qualification.
  • 12 years of warehouse experience.
  • Pick and Pack Experience preferred.
  • Current forklift license and full driver's license preferred but not essential.
  • Physically fit and strong to lift medium to heavy objects.
  • Basic computer skills.
