As a Business Analyst / Resourcing Manager, you play a dual role in driving organisational excellence by optimising both human capital and operational processes.

Your primary objective is to serve as a liaison between business objectives and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient utilisation of talent to propel organisational success.

Through analysis and interpretation of data, you will identify opportunities to enhance business operations and streamline processes, thereby increasing productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

Resource Management:

• Work with project managers to allocate personnel to various projects and ensure that resources are being utilized effectively.
• Monitor utilisation rates and identify opportunities to improve resource allocation.
• Identify resource gaps and work with the recruitment team to recruit and onboard new employees as needed.
• Utilisation Management: Generate reports on utilisation and revenue and present this information to key stakeholders.
• Work with project managers to ensure that resource allocation is aligned with revenue goals.
• Manage the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate timesheet submission.

Business Analyst & Operational Process Management:

• Review processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within existing workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements within the organisation to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Conduct thorough assessments and root cause analyses to propose and implement strategic solutions to optimize business processes, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create detailed documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system diagrams.
• Develop test plans and scenarios to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Assist in developing change management strategies to support the adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end users as needed.

Qualifications
This role is suited to someone with the following:

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in operations management or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to inform decisionmaking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is required
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and making business processes more efficient
