About the role

Cadence & Co is seeking an experienced Project Operations Manager to join our Northern Beaches team. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Contracts Administration and Project Management teams, managing all project management activities with strategic direction and oversight, including planning, resource allocation, forecasting, and reporting. This role involves close liaison with the Executive Team and other senior leaders in the business.

The role has responsibility across a team on the Northern Beaches and Southern Highlands.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring, supporting and providing professional development for your team members
  • Developing operational plans to improve the operations of the CA and PM functions
  • Developing systems, frameworks and processes to support successful, efficient project delivery
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing professional best practices across the team

About you

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience. To be successful, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in Project Management, ideally in high-end residential
  • Proven strong leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching
  • Proven track record in successfully undertaking Design and Construct projects
  • Experience in leading change and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, contractual documents, and specifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Construction Management or similar (desirable)
  • White Card and NSW driver's license
