ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Service Bay Operator at Saraji Mine, you will play a pivotal role in our mining operations. This is a DIDO, BIBO or you are eligible to seek a partial reimbursement of up to $150 per flight with in QLD if funding own commercial flights. Key responsibilities include:
- Complete refuelling services for mine plant and equipment on site
- Complete pre-start checks
- Test and move machinery on site
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an operator in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical and Standard 11 Induction certifications (or willing to obtain).
- Competency in operating Dozers, Loaders, Diggers, Haul Trucks, Graders etc.
