Welder

Our client is looking for 1st or 2nd Class Welders with solid MIG or TIG skills, experience in fabrication, steel, sheet metal work, finishing, or cutting would be a plus.
Your Compensation
- $40 per hour plus super, 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
Prepare various sheet metal materials based on project requirements.
Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and form sheet metal.
Operate welding equipment to join metal components accurately.
Ensure welds meet quality standards and safety protocols.
Conduct basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Communicate effectively with management to prioritize workflow.
Demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail.
Follow safe work practices.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Work well in a team environment.
Display a positive attitude and passion for the work
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Welding or Sheet Metal Work (or equivalent experience).
2-3 years of welding and/or sheet metal fabrication experience.
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
Understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good work ethic and positive attitude
