PIMS Mining has been contracted by Malabar Resources to provide services at the Maxwell Underground Bord and Pillar Operation located east of Denman and south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Region, New South Wales.

About the Role
***- High attention to detail;

  • Strong ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues;
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
  • Enjoy working in a team environment with a great work ethic;
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to understand written or orally communicated plans.
As a Cleanskin Fitter in an Underground Coal environment you will gain experience and in depth training in the following areas

  • Maintenance/Repair of Place Change face production equipment (Continuous Miners, Shuttle Cars, Mobile Roof Bolters, Breaker Feeders, LHD's, Driftrunners)
  • Maintenance/Repair of Pillar Extraction face production equipment (Mobile Roof Supports)
  • Maintenance/Repair of Outbye Equipment
  • The ability Provide Maintenance Support to the scope of works required within the Maxwell Bord and Pillar Project
