The Role:

In this newly established position, you will report directly to the Managing Director, overseeing a small finance and administration team. As the Financial Controller, your primary objective is to offer financial support to the Directors and Management Teams, ensuring financial accuracy, integrity, and driving continuous business enhancement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and systems firsthand
  • Supervising AR and AP operations as well as Payroll functions
  • Engaging with senior management, stakeholders, and providing strategic financial insights
  • Ensuring Tax Compliance across GST, PAYG, PAYGI, and FBT obligations
  • Overseeing IT systems company-wide across various locations
  • Producing timely Management Reports and Board Papers

The Person:

To excel in this stimulating role, you need a background in senior financial management. Experience in manufacturing accounting is essential, gained either within a manufacturing environment or through public practice with manufacturing clients in your portfolio.

CPA or CA qualification is a must.
