The opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Commission Secretariat & Registry, this role is responsible for supporting the Commission's decision-making processes as a board and as a tribunal by providing board secretariat and tribunal registry services to Commissioners, VGCCC directors, internal staff and external stakeholders.

Who we are looking for
A person with experience in coordinating secretariat services in board, governance or legal environments.
Key responsibilities

  • Provide endtoend Commission secretariat support services for the Commission as a board and a tribunal, including coordinating meeting agendas and papers, and writing detailed minutes of board meetings and their decisions.
  • Work under limited supervision to provide high level, confidential administrative support to the Commission in a changing organisation.
  • Develop effective relationships, working collaboratively with Commissioners, executives and staff across the organisation and external stakeholders to deliver governance systems and processes to support the Commission's and the organisation's work.
