This is a unique role and a great learning ground for someone who's career aspirations are a Board Co-Sec role OR high potential who is working towards an Exec Advisor type-role.

This role will work closely with the BW leadership team and liaise with Senior Leaders across the organisation. They will be exposed to all areas of the organisations and gain an understanding of how the Bank (vs team) operates

  • Coordinator the Bankwest governance committees and forums including production of forum charters, forward schedules and agendas, reviewing paper submissions and accurate recording of minutes, actions and decision
  • Complete committee performance annual assurance assessments and biannual charter reviews
  • Maintain the EGM Bankwest BEAR Statements of responsibilities and coordinate the quarterly review and attestation process
  • Prepare monthly EGM Bankwest governance papers
  • Provide guidance and coaching support on paper and charter writing
  • Prepare both Group and Bankwest committee paper submissions as required

  • Demonstrated strong judgement and sound, confident decision making
  • A proven track record of resilience and high performance
