Job Description

We are searching for a new type of Data Scientist who can take our team to the next level.

As a skilled Senior Data Scientist, you will utilize advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques to develop solutions that drive better decision-making and enhance business performance.

Working closely with Account Service Leads, Tech Program Leads, clients, and other departments, you will identify business challenges and crucial decisions that can be addressed through insightful analytics. Your role involves extracting insights, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities that can guide business decisions based on raw data.

The CHEP data team is a collaborative environment, where teamwork is key to providing top-notch data services to our clients. We are looking for a candidate with a blend of business acumen and technical skills to support our clients with advanced analytics needs as a core member of the Data Science team.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and visualize information to create insights through modeling and analysis, presenting findings in clear reports to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and lead data science solutions.
  • Lead the acquisition of additional data to address specific business issues and improve analytical capabilities.
  • Record and manage information for future reference and reporting.
  • Follow coding and knowledge-sharing best practices within the team.
  • Automate information delivery processes to increase speed and accuracy of decision-making.
  • Contribute to building a culture of innovation to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Help enhance CHEP Networks AI capabilities with fresh ideas.

Capabilities

  • Proficiency in data science tools and algorithms to create analytical assets and ensure ongoing accuracy.
  • Experience with various data environments and tools.
  • Skilled in visualization tools to develop data insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data problems.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and consultative skills.

Additional Factors for Success in This Role

  • Experience with Airflow, Adobe Analytics, and/or Google Analytics.
  • Interest in AI applications and methodology.
  • Advertising experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Positive team player attitude.
