About the Department of Paediatrics
The Department of Paediatrics is a large department within the School of Medicine.

The Department has responsibility for the Child & Adolescent Health component of the Doctor of Medicine course of the School.

The Department of Paediatrics is the flagship representative of the University partnership with the Royal Children's Hospital, and is co-located with the hospital in Flemington Road, Parkville.


Working with its partners, The Royal Children's Hospital and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, the University's Department of Paediatrics' vision for the Royal Children's Hospital campus is to be an integrated research, teaching and clinical institute (and environment) with the overall aim of benefiting child and adolescent health.


About the Role
The Department of Social Services (DSS)

National Early Childhood Program (NECP) has funded a project titled:
Enabling Visions and Growing Expectations (Families), or ENVISAGE-Families for short. This project brings together a consortium of universities and industry partners across Australia.

The grant aims to provide facilitated group workshops in all states and territories for parents and carers of young children aged 0 to 8 years with a newly identified disability or who have concerns regarding their child's development.


The
ENVISAGE National Evaluation Manager will join and collaborate with the ENVISAGE leadership team to ensure a robust evaluation of the program's implementation (reach, adoption, implementation strategies, impact, effectiveness and sustainability) across Australia.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the design, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of the evaluation of the ENVISAGE program across Australia.
  • Work in partnership with ENVISAGE team members to create and maintain effective information and data management processes for smooth and secure delivery of the evaluation program.
  • Oversee the evaluation team's relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the evaluation program.

About You


You will bring your experience in collaborative research with a broad cross-section of allied health professionals, consumers and external stakeholders, and experience delivering implementation projects in health care settings.

You will be able to build outstanding individual and team relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will also have:

  • A PhD in health services research or related field with demonstrated highlevel skills in program evaluation of health care interventions and/or services.
  • At least seven years of postdoctoral experience (relative to opportunity) and an appropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation.
  • Evidence of postdoctoral research outputs and impact as evidenced by publication records (including first or senior author papers), conference attendance and speaking invitations.
  • To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
