One of Australia's leading
Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced to join their
Service Designer to join a multidisciplinary team based in their
Canberra. The successful
Service Designer will to work alongside a highly collaborative and passionate human-centred design team to improve the departments experiences for businesses.

The successful
Service Designer will secure a
6 month contract with a
12 month extension options and a
rewarding pay.


The successful
Service Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Support the planning, facilitation and analysis of user research activities.
  • Strong analysis skills and ability to absorb and analyse a range of information sources including research studies, process diagrams and technical artefacts.
  • Support the shaping of actionable insights to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings and influence decision making.
The successful
Service Designer will have experience in the following:

  • Experience working with various disciplines to solve problems, identify opportunities for improvement and progress shared deliverables
  • Ability to bring together a variety of lenses (e.g. user experience and technical feasibility) to produce actionable insights
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team to plan, conduct and synthesise user research activities to inform decision making and reforms.
