  • Your Mission
  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team based in Knoxfield Victoria.
  • This is a pivotal role within Acoem, as it is responsible for the assembly and testing of many products and components that Acoem has to offer. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technician or recent TAFE/University graduate to kickstart their career.
  • Key responsibilities will include
  • Assembly and testing of a range of products and subassemblies
  • Responsible for the quality and review of your own workmanship
  • Maintain production and testing equipment
  • Provide training when required to allow the upskill of production personnel
  • Compliance with ISO accreditation
  • General maintenance and housekeeping of production workplace
  • Provide technical support from a production view, where required.
  • What qualifications, skills & experience would you need to be successful?
  • Relevant TAFE qualifications are preferred, but not essential
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role required
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks when required
  • A reasonable level of hand dexterity, as the role involves the assembly of small and delicate components
  • A keen eye for detail, as you will be required to review and follow strict product drawings, templates and assembly instructions
  • Prior experience in instrumentation plumbing, wire crimping and soldering will be advantageous.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks when required
  • Ability to work on various projects with conflicting timelines
  • Strong troubleshooting and faultfinding mindset
