Director of Health Services, RDNS Silverchain

Randstad Health and Social Care have teamed up with RDNS Silverchain, a leading provider of in-home health services in South Australia, to assist in the recruitment of this key role.

The Director of Health Services is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of a wide array of community health care services across South Australia. As a crucial member of the RDNS Silverchain SA leadership team, the Director of Health Services plays a significant role in shaping and executing the strategic vision. Moreover, this role involves overseeing risk management and actively working to enhance the requisite capacity, compliance, and capability within SA's health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee that health services maintain high quality, safety, and compliance with policies, legislation, and health accreditation standards.
  • Identify and handle risks across all health services by contributing to the creation and assessment of quality improvement guidelines and governance requirements within the state.
  • Ensure efficient service delivery, including:
    • Financial sustainability and productivity performance
    • Formulate and lead highly effective teams, ensuring they meet their responsibilities, and offer guidance and support to employees.
    • Ensure that services fulfill contractual and compliance duties.
  • Provide support for out-of-hours operational escalation calls when necessary.
  • Establish key partnerships and explore opportunities to collaborate and influence relevant health industry and governmental bodies, further solidifying our reputation as a dependable health provider.
  • Supervise the management, stakeholder connections, and KPI requirements for all health service agreements in South Australia

About you

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Extensive experience leading health services in a large organization.
  • Experience in devising and executing strategic plans and initiatives to support the delivery of top-notch services
  • Proficient in working in complex, fast-paced setups with urgent and time-sensitive service delivery demands.
  • Background in service planning and instituting new programs for the community and health partners' benefit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in commercial acumen, efficient management of resources, and business performance reporting for informed decision-making.
