Wollondilly is at an exciting stage of our growth and we're seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader within the Information and Technology space to manage Council's Digital Innovation, Information and Technology Section.


This exciting management role will lead our Digital Innovation, Information and Technology Section in providing quality service and guidance to all staff in our information and technology functions across Council.

Reporting to the Director Shire Connections, you will be responsible for providing ongoing leadership, strategic direction, management and coordination of the Digital Innovation, Information and Technology Section.

Selection Criteria -
Essential Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field and/or extensive demonstrated experience in areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated significant people leadership experience including leading staff through change, enabling high performance and achieving results.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in Information Technology and Information Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving the technology vision and development in a changing environment.
  • High level of planning and project management skills with a proven track record of delivering high quality results in line with project budget and timeframes
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all organisational levels and external stakeholders and agencies.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence

Desirable Requirements

  • Post Graduate Qualifications in a relevant field
  • Project Management Qualifications.
