Job Overview

JENSEN HUGHES is seeking an Automatic Fire Sprinkler Designer/ Automated Fire Alarm Designer in Sydney or Brisbane. This highly visible role within the organization will report to the Director of Built Environment.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Designing Automated Fire sprinkler systemsLiaising with builders and sprinkler fittersDesigning Automated Fire Alarm Systems

Requirements and Qualifications

5-10 years experience in the fire protection industry.Thorough knowledge of Australian standards and the BCA.Experienced in design in of fire protection systems.Computer design knowledge with AutoCAD softwareRevit knowledge an advantage.Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.High accuracy and attention to detail.Self-motivation.Good communication skills.Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
