In this role, you'll work closely with the design team, interpreting client briefs, developing concept sketches, and preparing detailed plans. From initial design to final working drawings, your role is crucial in maintaining high standards and ensuring client satisfaction.

Here's what you'll be up to:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using ARCHICAD.
  • Interpret council requirements, engineering, and consultant reports.
  • Create concept sketches from client briefs while complying with relevant codes.
  • Prepare Development Application (DA) plans and working drawings.
  • Maintain relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Work independently and unsupervised while being accountable and part of a team.

What you need to bring:

  • Proficiency in ARCHICAD with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience within a Project Building company and/or Drafting firm.
  • Knowledge and use of Current Australian Standard Building Codes and Practices.
  • Technical writing skills to source, comprehend, and apply relevant Covenants, POD, Building/Development, and/or SEPP Codes to project tasks.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods.
  • A portfolio of work showcasing your experience and references supporting your work.
