Use your previous Service Desk Analyst/Help Desk experience to assist with level 1 technical troubleshooting for a well-known global organisation.

Role Outline
A market leading manufacturer is looking for a Level 1 Help Desk person.

Reporting into the Service Desk Manager, this role is tasked with actively contributing to the Service Desk team initiatives and delivering first line support services to the greater organisation
. You will act as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests arising from the day-to-day operations of the company.

Your professionalism, pragmatic and strategic approach will drive and ensures excellence in IT support services, documentation, team performance and continuous improvement.

Anticipated median hourly rate for this role is $40 per hour

You will be joining a team that will be working on a wide range of IT support.

As a
Service Desk Agent, you will be involved in

  • Escalating issues as required
  • Logging tickets and details
  • Technical troubleshooting over Teams or TeamViewer

Skills and experience required:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar Service Desk position
  • Providing level 1 support
  • Background in Microsoft platforms and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst being organised, detailoriented, accurate and thorough
  • Excellent customer service focus and telephone manner
  • IT Certifications (diploma or degree level) desired, not required
