Join the hospitality team at the Multicultural Village residential care home based in Warrawong. The Multicultural Village provides care and support for older people from culturally and liguistically diverse backgrounds.

About the role:

You will support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

This involves assisting in food preparation, serving meals, maintaining orderliness of food supplies and equipment, sanitation control and kitchen equipment maintenance.

Shift times include morning, mid morning and afternoon pm) and will include weekends and public holidays.

Permanent part time and casual positions are available.

To be successful you will need:

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated empathy with and commitment to the care of older people
• Understanding of Infection Control and Safe Work Practices
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplined team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to follow workplace guidelines, procedures and policies
