Based in Sunshine West, GenX Group is a bespoke shopfitter & manufacturing fit-out company that collaborates with various clients to deliver top-notch projects.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Operating machinery, CNC, and edge bander to ensure high-quality materials
• Managing project builds for commercial, retail, and residential structures
• Collaborating with the team on the factory floor and prioritizing tasks
• Negotiating with Project Managers for optimal outcomes
• Overseeing QA checks for all products
• Improving production processes for timely and budget-friendly projects
• Coordinating cutting lists and tasks to meet deadlines
• Ensuring adherence to OH&S policies

Skills and Experience Required:

• Qualifications in carpentry with experience in working with various materials
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective planning and time management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in reading architectural plans and drawings
• Experience in scheduling production tasks and managing resources
• Continuous monitoring of quality standards and implementation of quality control

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be in good physical condition.

Current Victorian Drivers Licence required, Forklift Licence advantageous.
