Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver Power Electrical / Electronics systems for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) / Rail Locomotives projects in a safe, timely and sustainable mannerReview and validation of various Power Electronics engineering designs and associated componentsProviding technical assistance on Power Electrical / Electronics Systems related works being carried outDevelop technical specifications to meet project specific objectivesReview / mark up engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopesResolution of technical and design issuesProactively deliver on the company's stretch targetsEnsure compliance to the project management process by project ownersLiaising with a range of key stakeholders on all technical aspects of projectsProviding regular updates to the Principal Electrical Engineer including work progress, risks, and prioritiesQualifications and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Electrical/Electronics EngineeringElectrical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering degree, preferably a qualification in Power Electrical/Electronics EngineeringExperience with Rail Locomotives / Heavy mobile equipment is highly advantageousExperience with operation of DC/DC converters, Rectifiers, Inverters, high powered EV chargers and VSDsExperience in designing high voltage DC power systems with experience in electrical noise filtration is advantageousExposure with automotive industry comms protocols, such as CAN bus and J1939Knowledge of standards and regulations associated with electrical design, installation, and testingProven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and in multidiscipline teamsHigh commitment to safetyExcellent interpersonal awareness skills with ability to work well in a teamProactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellenceResults driven, responsible and accountableCapable of prioritising and delivering work in a fast-moving environmentAbility to adjust to change quickly and adapt to new requirementsOur Commitment
