In this role, you'll:


Calling budding Social Value champions Join our Community and Place, Eastern Harbour City team where you will coordinate and deliver a range of internal and external community and stakeholder engagement activities, critical to building partnerships with the communities we serve.


Embedded in a team that advocates for Country and communities through social value; shaping projects for integrated public benefit, this role will see you provide specialist advice and services across community engagement, customer information, internal communication, opportunity and issues management and digital strategies.

You will develop and implement out of cycle initiatives and strategic community engagement plans, and oversee and work in collaboration with your team to deliver meaningful engagement for inner west communities on Dharug, Eora and Dharawal nations.


This is a temporary, full time position up to March 2025 in an innovative and friendly team, and offers hybrid working from our Elizabeth Street Sydney office.

About you
You are a passionate community engagement professional, ideally with exposure to social value, strategic planning and implementation.

You have a strong sense of social justice, and a genuine desire to engage and partner with communities, embedding their intersectional needs and aspirations across and beyond the project cycle.


You are a natural persuasive communicator, who shows adaptability and agility when dealing with multiple audiences and stakeholders, and your flair for influencing decision making positions you as an SME in your field.

You build genuine, lasting relationships with those around you, and you put people at the heart by advocating for the communities you represent.


This role will suit you if you have worked on multiple large scale communications and engagement projects, with complex stakeholder groups, tight deadlines and an ever-changing project landscape.
