You will be part of a small design team with relative autonomy, but with the full support and expertise of the wider Cubiko team to help you succeed.
The role will involve working alongside data analysts, engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to design solutions to our customer's problems.
But ultimately, you will be moving quickly to understand a deep problem our customers face and have autonomy as part of a squad to develop robust solutions.
Create wireframes, user flows and prototypes to visualise and communicate design concepts.Develop high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes using Figma.
Conduct user research and usability testing using appropriate UX research methods.
Identify and analyse user pain points.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team on innovative design solutions.
Flexibility and open-mindednessRequirements
Roughly 3 or more years of professional design experience.
Familiarity with fundamental design principles.
Understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies, accessibility, UI and usability best practices.
Proficient with relevant design tools, processes and best practices.
Experience working with a new product throughout its creation would be lookup upon favourably.
Hiring Process
As a small company, we value an efficient and transparent hiring process. As a design applicant, this is what you can expect.
All applications (resumes) will be initially read and reviewed by a designer.
We'll set up an initial screening interview over Zoom to discuss cultural fit and make sure we're all on the same page around timelines, salaries, and working environment.
We then schedule a longer interview in our offices with a handful of our team.This is a chance for you to get to know some of the people you'd be working alongside, ask questions about what it's like to work at Cubiko, and for us to assess your suitability for the role.
