At Australian Unity we are going through an exciting phase of innovative change with the commissioning of a brand-new Aged Care Precinct opening its doors in beautiful South Melbourne (across from Albert Park Lake) in May 2023.


Currently home to The Grace Retirement Community, which comprises 79 residences, The Alba Aged Care Suites (95 beds) and Easy Living Apartments (60 apartments) will provide customers with a continuum of options from independence through to clinical care and memory support.

It will offer state-of-the-art facilities within a light filled interior, on-site café, private dining facilities, hair and beauty spa, and gym along with many other activities in the Albert Park Lake area.


The Alba has been designed around our
Better Together principles meaning small household model, self-contained households and community connection with the latest technology which assists you in providing the best care and service.

We support you by offering higher staff-to-resident ratio to allow you to do what you do best


The Alba Aged Care Suites is scheduled to open on the 1st May 2023, and we are looking for our new staff to join us in mid-April 2023.

Roles Available:

  • Personal Care Assistants
  • AM (7am) / PM (2:45pm) / Overnights (9:30pm)


 Registered Nurses
  • AM (7am) / PM (2:45pm) / Overnights (9:30pm)


 Food Service Assistants
  • AM (7am 2pm) and PM (4pm 9pm)
  • Kitchen Hands 9:30am 5:30pm
  • Cafe/Barista 9am 4pm
  • Lifestyle Assistants
  • Laundry Assistants 8am 4pm

About You


You align to our
Values of Bold, Warm, and Honest and can demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent care for your customers.

Does this sound like you?

  • A truly customercentric approach with the passion to deliver real 'care' to residents
  • Availability to work Morning, Afternoon or Night Shifts with minimum of 3 day availability
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster
  • Personal Care Assistant relevant qualification e.g. Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV Ageing OR Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing having completed your first placement


 Registered Nurse
  • Completed qualification in Bachelor of Nursing and have APHRA registration
  • Fodd Service Assistant / Kitchen Hand / Cafe
  • Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one
