In this role, you will be responsible for managing the weighbridge operations, accurately recording weights, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Your primary focus will be on verifying and documenting the weight of incoming and outgoing shipments and coordinating with relevant departments.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage the weighbridge facility efficiently and safely.
  • Accurately record weights of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other relevant personnel to facilitate smooth weighing operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of weights, shipments, and related information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns regarding weighing procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the weighbridge equipment, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
  • Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of weighing procedures and resolve discrepancies if any.
  • Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Weighbridge Officer or in a similar role within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and recordkeeping skills.
  • Familiarity with weighing equipment and software systems.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
