This is an exciting role for a Medical Science professional to join a growing organization to build and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders to expand Medison's educational, advisory, and research partnership opportunities.


You will be responsible to medically lead in the field Kimmtrak for the treatment of metastatic Uveal Melanoma, a devastating rare cancer.

Kimmtrak is a highly innovative treatment with a unique mode of action and high potential in several potential new indications.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry
  • 10+ years of related pharmaceutical, biotech experience with excellent reputation in the industry
  • Strong knowledge of Australian healthcare within Oncology, Immuno-Oncology and/or Rare Diseases as well as good understand of compliance within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in a large innovative healthcare organization
  • Experience working with multinational staff and organizations
  • High drive and capacity for personal growth with strong business acumen

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high scientific standards to develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in healthcare, academic, and professional associations
  • Serve as the first point of contact between healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and Medison Medical Affairs
  • Build, maintain and ensure objectives of KOL engagement plans are met in a timely, accurate and compliant manner
  • Ensure constant awareness of internal and external information available to support highquality scientific exchange to coordinate highquality interactions with external customers
  • Ensure timely and highquality responses to unsolicited questions from HCPs and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate the Early Access Program and ensure support to the HCPs related to the EAP
  • Support the development and review of medical materials, as required, such as scientific/medical presentations, medical education material, commercial slide decks
  • Deliver highquality presentation of clinical and disease state information to a variety of audiences, including KOLs, advisors, formulary/decision makers, payers, and internal stakeholders
  • Serve as scientific resource at key medical, scientific, and patient advocacy conferences as assigned
  • Conduct therapeutic training to contribute to local medical and crossfunctional initiatives
  • Provide fieldbased medical support to Medison's partner clinical research programs, registries and investigator sponsored research as required
  • Regularly communicate medical insights from HCPs to inform and refine medical strategy and tactics
  • Under the guidance of the Medical Director, provide Medical Affairs coverage for conferences, medical rounds, and companysponsored meetings
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge and scientific expertise on all assigned disease areas and products
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations (eg. ICH, GCP, Ethical Practices) and company policies
  • Develop and continually improve knowledge of scientific literature and critical appraisal of publications
  • Participate in, and lead external meetings as required
