Platinum Solar Group, a company run by sparkies; is a leading solar installation company with a mission to make clean energy accessible to everyone.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Roofer/Labourer to join our team.

As a Roofer/Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of solar systems and will be working directly under a CEC Qualified Electrician.

A day in the life of a Platinum Solar Group Roofer/Labourer:

  • Assist with installation of Solar PV panels in accordance with local regulations.
  • Conduct roof assessments and confirm suitability for installation.
  • Create solar roof rail designs for placement of solar panels.
  • Collect material from suppliers and deliver to site as needed
  • Work with team members to complete installations efficiently and effectively in accordance with PSG policies.
  • Ensure that installations meet or exceed customer expectations and quality standards.
  • All works must be carried out with due care while observing all relevant safety protocols
  • Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing solar installations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 Year experience as Roofer/Labourer.
  • Experience with solar installations or renewable energy systems desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have working at heights certificate and white card.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20kg.
