About The Opportunity


We are interested in expressions of interest for trade qualified HV Electricians who would like to join our team based out of Muswellbrook.

Working an even time roster your main duties will include:

Providing quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment
Attending to onsite site breakdowns and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work
New machine builds and machine shutdowns as well as liaising with technical support staff
Maintaining the important link between the customer and the company, ensuring a high level of technical product support

To be successful in this role you will have

A strong safety focus with an understanding and ability to always abide by site safety processes
Qualifications – Certificate III in Electrotechnology is required.
Analytical thinking - Ability to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues and carry out repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework
Ability to interpret electrical schematics
Ability to meet the requirements for order 43 pre-employment medical
Current Hunter Valley mine site inductions will be considered advantageous
Possession of high risk work licences such as EWP, WAH, Forklift and dogging will be considered advantageous
Ability to travel away for work for short periods
Experience on heavy mobile mining equipment is essential
