ABOUT THE ROLE
The Mobile Speed Camera Program is recruiting Control Room Operators.

This position works autonomously and as part of a broader team to provide monitoring and support for all Mobile Speed Camera Services.

The Control Room will be the main form of communication to ensure the maximum protection of the Speed Camera Operators.


  • Coordinating with the Mobile Speed Camera Operator on the set up and testing prior to a session
  • Effective monitoring of all enforcement operational activities on a 24/7 basis
  • Effective communication with all Mobile Speed Operators to ensure ongoing safety and maximum protection
  • Monitor and report on live vehicle location, track vehicle travel and vehicle speed alarm and actively monitor any duress systems deployed
  • Understanding the TfNSW Business Requirements related to the Mobile Speed Camera Program
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in conducting control room activities in a similar environment
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations
  • Service delivery across a 24 x 7 schedule
  • Previous experience in conducting incident investigations
  • Ability to write and compile detailed reports
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
