Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing this role will provide leadership and support in all aspects of WHS.


This includes:


Collaborate with front-line leaders to identify and execute improvement initiativesCoordinate and actively participate in risk assessments to identify, control and mitigate workplace and operational hazardsEngage with frontline staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety standardsTake the lead in investigations into incidents and near misses including identifying root causes, implementing action plans and thorough follow-upServe as a subject matter expert in safety including incident reporting, investigation, annual audits and necessary actions to support our Front-Line LeadersCultivate a positive safety culture by promoting awareness, safety engagement and accountability across all levels of the organisationEncourage the reporting of safety concerns and suggestions for improvement, fostering an environment of continuous enhancementUtilise data to identify trends, measure safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with our senior leadersPrepare and deliver monthly reports for Executives, highlighting key safety metrics and areas for improvement.

Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV of WHS minimum)3+ years' experience as a senior safety professionalStrong understanding of relevant state and national WHS legislationDemonstrated experience in injury management, Worker's Compensation and Claims ManagementCurrent and valid driver's license and own vehicleBuild a career with O'Brien Apply nowAs part of Belron, the world's leading glass specialists operating in 35 countries, O'Brien put our customer at the heart of everything that we do.
