The Role
To plan the scheduling and safe delivery of facilities projects including the planning, procurement, project delivery and administration to agreed service levels to ensure the functionality, amenity and affordability of the building as designed;

About You

  • Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote corporate values.
  • A degree in engineering, architecture, building or construction with substantial project management experience in the building and construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing, leading, motivating and developing staff to create an outcomefocussed, changeready, innovationsavvy and performanceoriented culture.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful planning and delivery of capital projects through effective project and construction management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, knowledge of relevant Acts and Regulations governing workplace health and safety in Victoria.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify through networks and scanning practices that will improve productivity and effectiveness and introduce them to workgroups.
  • Sound understanding of procurement in public sector and contract management principles.
  • Excellent financial skills including budgeting, forecasting and monitoring expenditure.
  • Capacity to investigate and analyse a range of complex problems independently to make an informed decision.
  • Sound networking skills and ability to sustain rapport, gain cooperation from and motivate a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
