Position Overview:
As a Service Leader at Centacare, you will be instrumental in delivering top-quality services, fostering a positive workplace culture, and contributing to the organization's mission. Specifically, in the role of Aged Care Service Leader, you will work collaboratively to provide personalized care, lead a team, and ensure a conducive workplace environment.
This full-time position based in Ningi involves handling a CHSP client load, overseeing a Day Centre, on-call duties, and staff supervision. The Ningi Day Centre has strong connections with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Communities, appreciating cultural representation and heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support workers in delivering person-centered care
  • Facilitate team meetings and provide client-specific training
  • Ensure clients' needs are met according to service standards
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and promote services positively
  • Manage service operations, budgets, and compliance

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in Aged Care Case Management
  • Diploma in Community Services/Disability or equivalent
  • Leadership experience in human services
  • Knowledge of funding standards and legislation
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in written and computer skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Problem-solving and conflict management skills
  • Compliance with relevant screening and checks
